US troops were not chased out in any muslim country. Somaila and Iraq were UN supported operations.
In Somalia 29 nations participated in protecting humanitarian operations and nation building. The ROE were laughable (I knew some Belgian paratroopers who were there). All nations left because they were drawn into clan wars. The UN mission was a faliure.
In Iraq about 40 countries were involved. The US troops left because the Iraqis and the US couldn't agree on the terms to stay. So they left when the former agreement expired. That's called keeping your promise, not chased out.
