'Ello you lot.

I'll just say I'm going skiing? :D

What she doesn't know won't hurt her...

Brits going skiing? That's something I want to see.

When I was younger, I was competing in biathlon, not with the 22; we were using Mauser, in Sweden called M-96 (6.5x55), the Swedish submachine gun Kpist M-45 B, and the Swedish version of the German G3.

The best time to visit Sweden is in the spring, the spring sun does something naughty to the Swedish ladies, and so Viper's suggestion for an excuse sounds much better ;-)

I'm a qualified military ski instructor. ;) :p

I always fancied doing a biathlon. Never got the chance. :(

Spring you say? We'd better start organising something? :D

I learned to ski at Aviemore in Scotland when I was with 5th Battalion Queens Regiment (TAVR). The British Army had a ski lodge in the middle of no where, it was brilliant!

Then you don't know what you're missing out on. ;) :p

I'll tell you what, if we do get heavy snowfall tomorrow, I'll give you some lessons?

I used to love skiing for free, down in Bavaria.
In a little village called Wertach, or similar, it had its own small slope.
Then onto the Grunton

I'm top heavy, I'll be on the deck more than upright, I was the same canoeing, I spent more time looking at the bottom of the river!!!

Adventure training in the lakes in 1987 when I was with the RMP, and again in Carlisle in 2005 to get to work when the whole city flooded!!! :D (I made that last bit up about getting to work - I drove :D not about the flood)

I never realised the RMP were into that type of thing e.g. having a laugh. ;) :p

There's no way you drove through Hardwicke in 2005!! :p
