FOO-Bar and SnaFOOD Grill

Wanda, the *cobbler* looks great and should go well with some of this *high-powered* rums thes folks have available... :-)

us insurrectionist on this side of the moat have to settle for 40 to 51 percent... have no clue what a 160 proof rum might taste like... pour a dram or three whilst I fill a bowl of Wanda's cobbler..

oh, and what do you guys think about Prince Henry letting his hair down and playing *strip billiards*? As an outsider with little knowledge of how all that *royalty* stuff works - but figure if you are born with a *silver spoon* then you would have to behave at a higher standard. Of course, he found out that his *friends* were nowhere near being friends - but being in his position one would think he would know better..... so, will he be sent to the doghouse for a few... your opinions and firsthand knowledge would be much appreciated...

HEY WANDA!!! this stuff is good, :bravo: can you make up another batch?

Please.

what do you boys think about a sandwich and a small libation?

and while we take a bit of sustenance, do you think Israel will preemptively strike Iran? Personally I hope they call Iran's bluff and turn the place into rubble...

This is really making me hungry...

As for Iran, if they can make something like that (the sandwich), lets spare them.... otherwise.... kabooooommmmm!:cen:

I'm too drunk to drive. I take the tram.
Oops! never driven one before.

Actually, I was witness to this... and this was what I told the polizei-
... the driver was okay, doing his daily routine, just driving along, when all of a sudden the row of shophouses just came out nowhere. The driver has no time to react....

Something must be done to the drunken row of shophouses...

I'd like a round on me for all the guys at the counter of this.

And even though it's dark in here I'd like to wear a pair of these.

Back to stocking the bar, this is the local brandy I was rather partial to when I was based in Germany. ;)

I've got a bottle unopened in my drinks cabinet right now.:drunkb:

I'm loath to crack it open because I know I wont get another bottle.

The rum is available in five variants: Stroh 38, Stroh 40, Stroh 54, Stroh 60 and Stroh 80. The number represents the Volume percent of the Alcohol by volume, in other words, 76, 80, 108, 120 and 160 proof.

BLIMEY!!! I was right, you could run a Saturn 5 on it.

Prince Harry will no doubt get a ticking off from "we are not amused" Granny, personally I find it highly amusing. I remember many years ago Prince Charles was caught drinking under age, mummy and daddy weren't too pleased by all accounts and he was a given a "ticking off." There were cartoons in one of the UK newspapers with Guardsmen standing guard at pub and club entrances.

Again personally, I'd love to see Harry do the "Dance of the flaming bum hole." Now that REALLY would amuse me.:smil:

Personally I have sympathy for the lad. It's not an easy environment to grow up in. I find it refreshing that we have a member of the royal family who has the bollocks to be himself.

Try this simple cocktail with Schnapps, rum and a bit of orange juice. Though most of the flavour comes from the Schnapps and rum, you can really taste the addition of the black tea.

Ingredients:

  • 3 oz Schnapps, 80 proof
  • 3 oz Stroh rum, 160 proof
  • 6 oz water
  • Juice from one orange
  • 1 tea bag (black)
Preparation:

Heat ingredients together in a saucepan until boiling. Let simmer for 5 minutes, and serve. Sugar to taste.

It's called "hunters tea" Jägerthe in German.

That last one would last a while....

Talk about a cold remedy. So which refinery does this substance come from?
Stroh Austria GmbH, Klagenfurt in Austria.

It would good to have a Guardsman doing the sentry stuff. If they had the Royal Marines doing that duty, they would have joined him... even showed him some other new stuff alien to the Prince....

Go Prince Harry!:bravo::drunkb:

Wanda Woman........ I do HOPE you are taking notes here........ these boys is in a totally different drinking league then Crash, Elliott and the likes we have back home.......... makes my eyes roll just reading this stuff....

think I better put some chow out before they get all rowdy...
