best time with friends

Considering I weigh just over eight stone, I think I did rather well! Plus I metabolise the crap out of everything I digest, really quickly. So, liquor goes through me like a knife through butter.

It's not my fault there was a lack of wimens. The host invited a shedload, but the roads were terrible, and so many couldn't come. As I've mentioned, the only one there who I'd think about "going down on", was already pissed by the time I got there. And then up-chucked on herself forty-five minutes later.

I slept for four hours. And woke up thinking that death might be more pleasant.

There is no point to explain what snow does and what a shxtload of problems it's create. When you are drinking, Hawky. Do you mix or staying with one sort of booze?

8 stone? Skinny little shite. ;)

You must be great fun on a night out! :p

Ah, the lack of wimens excuse. That'll not wash with me youngster :p As long as there's at least 2 wimens, there's no excuse for not getting anyway. That's the whole point in a party.

You're seriously showing The Brit Pack up and I'll not stand for it! :D

As my learned friend Highway Man says, death will be more pleasant once The Brit Pack catch up with you! :p

I know all about snow! ;)

I'll bet he's a "mixer".

I would love to see you on skis, it must have been.......interesting:lol:

Drinking, yes. Young people have a tendency to mix....bad move...Many people I know drink milk when they return home. I don't, I normally eat yoghurt, and it is good for the stomach

Here you, I'll have you know that I was taught to ski as part of my Royal Marines artic training. 2 weeks extensive training which only 1 in 3 pass. (I passed) :D ;)

Yogurt? I may have to give that a try over the new year. ;)

Two weeks, eh? That sounds like........never mind :-D

Dairy products are good to use, when you have a hangover, it is a mild poisoning symptom. When children have eaten something they shouldn't, the advice is; give them a lot of milk/yoghurt until they reach a hospital or the paramedics arrive

Sounds like a lot for a.........Brit  :hide:

We didn't just ski though. Also built shelters and lived in them for a few nights, and various weapons exercises. More like Artic Warfare than just pure skiing. ;)

We had cross country ski's and skied cross country with a 120 lbs burgen on your back. Then we had to ski cross country while pulling a heavy pulk (sledge). All of this was done repeatedly up and down mountains. Then we had to jump into a hole in the ice with our burgen, ski's and ski poles to simulate falling through ice. All very tough for non skiers. :p

It's all right for you scandinavians born with ski's on your feet. ;)

I can imagine so; we did something similar between the end of October to the late March.

During the Cold War; the Swedish infantry was preparing for what we called "The Free War." Heavily influenced by the Finnish experience (the Finnish-Russian Winter War 1939-40) we could never face the Soviets on their terms, we played after ours. The Swedish military even took a closer look at how the North Vietnamese Army fought against the Americans. With saying that, the Swedish army could never stop the Soviets, but we could make them pay

Our training was devised for the Cold War. Our training starts just after Christmas and runs through until March.

We had Norwegian military instructors. Nice bunch of guys except for when they made us do 40km ski marches. Probably covered about 300km on ski's by the end of the training. Was well worth all the blood, sweat and tears as it earnt me my military ski instructor badges. :D
