Terror attack in Mumbai

Yeah and you'd know the professional killer material how?
And why don't the moderates "talk" to the extremists and dictators? Probably because it doesn't work. If it doesn't work for them, it's not going to work for you.

Del Boy, I dont agree with you there.
What do you call the "moderate"? You have to understand that in these countries, the people have no power. End of story.

They are all helpless, they live like animals. They are just there to pay the taxes at the end of the year. No body cares about their opinion.

There is the dictatorship and the police/army/security forces who are there to make sure that the people wont riot...

And these armies are damn good at their job. They are there to protect a dictator from the people. When it comes to protect the country from outsiders, they cant do...

But let's come back to the moderates, all I wanted to do, is to explain you how they cant act...

The extremists want what? They want less coruption... Or less of "their definition of corruption"... It means Sharia Law for some... Or more influence of sharia law on the current laws... a modern Sharia if you prefer... with human rights and such... following the education level in the country...

And this is normal in a Muslim country. It's their right. It's not good for me if I want to drink a beer in the streets over there, but they are the one forced to live there... not me...

And guess what? even I want that... Are you going to sue me because I want to see corrupt government going down? it's the most natural thing on earth. Even the USA shares goals with Ben Laden... Like to bring Iran and Saddam Hussein down...
No body likes these dictators... They are just murderous bastards who waste the ressources of a whole country for themselves and an useless army...

The moderates are silent... Because if they speak up. They get tortured, imprisoned and raped... By the government agents... It's not a democracy... They dont have the habit to open their mouths...

So accusing them of not reacting is really unfair...

so let me give you all the point I said:
"moderates" have no power. asking them to "act up" is ridiculous.
the local armies are very good when it comes to destroy a public uprising.
the extremists want to bring the local corrupt governments down.
All the honest people in the world share this objective.

Le Mask - you are completely missing or avoiding the position I am taking.

You keep beating your chest regarding the state of extremists in their own hell- holes; well, those are the hell-holes they wish to impose upon us here in the west; those are the cultures they love so.

I am talking of the terrorists, the extremists and the moderates who are living in safety and shelter here in the west, and are perfectly able to speak up if they so wish. Well, the extremists and the terrorists do, to tell us how much they hate us and what they are going to do to us. And the moderates look away and silently have the same wish -list - the transformation of our democracies into their same old hell-hole cultures, with new religious dictatorships here.

They are safe here, they are feather-bedded here, they hate us; they strive to bring Pakistan here.

You are right Del Boy, sorry, I didnt think directly about the Muslims living in democracies in the West...
I dont know man. Extremists are noisy by definition. They want to be heard. You know, like an Algerian told me once "the falling tree makes more noise than the growing forest."

Anway, maybe a problem about media coverage... In fact, most people who get on TV dont support terrorism. And they dont spend much time explaining why, as it's pretty obvious... And if they start naming Islamic laws that banish suicide, killing women and children etc, we accuse them of trying to convert us...

I dont know...

It's a tough call. In the past, time has solved the integration problems - within one or two generations.

But that was in multi-racial circumstances. Now we have this imposed multi-cultural society, which produces seperation and division. And this suits the plans of the, shall we say, 'non-moderates'. In the 60's, in London, it never occurred to me that Asians would not slide comfortably into position here, once the children were at shared schools, and our tolerant system was understood. That is how it worked in east London for my children and the immigrants then; no problems.
