7 out of the 8 Highways cars in Cumbria are Volvos, from possibly October, all 8 will be Volvos.

Maybe the police will change to BMW’s or something different soon !

There's no chance of that happening, BMW have withdrawn from the police market after the RTC in which a Cumbria roads policing officer died driving a X5.

I’m having to slow down unnecessarily when I can’t always see it’s not the cops !

I was under the impression that they painted them bright colours and put flashing lights on them so you could easily see the bad drivers

The issue I have is that the police use the same model of Volvo with similar reflective markings but in a different colour - It can be difficult to distinguish between the 2 when they’re partially hidden and you have about 2 seconds to look !

We may have been mates but he still wanted the pleasure of pulling me over and writing a ticket !

Just the 6 points on my licence at the moment but 3 points are due to expire at the end of the year so might actually be down to 3 points for the first time in years !
