No, not 6 more carriers. I said, 1 is decommisioned. Just bring that one back to commission status (might cost a crap load, but I am sure it will be cheaper than another carrier and faster too).

US currently have 11 Carriers commissioned. One is decommissioned, just take it off habor. I know it is not as easy as it sound btw.

I would hardly consider it the fault of the media that you are so oblivious to the world around you that you missed an invading army in your back yard.

Hell I am prepared to bet that if I switched off contact with the media for a decade I would still notice an invasion.

Well yea, but I was just trying to be a little extreme to make a point :)
point being the news media reports what they want us to see, not the truth, unless the truth is interesting and brings up ratings they its exaggerated just enough to get somebody rich when the ratings go up.

but seriously if I see an invading Army in my back yard I'll be dead cause all I have is a shotgun, a 30-06, and a7.62x54R Mosin Nagant, to go up against an entire Army, but I'm dam sure gonna see how many I can take to hell with me:)

Our naval leaders and the citizens who enjoy what little freedom we have left want 12 carriers, 6 on each coast, the socialists on capital hill want to eliminate anything that doesn't benefit them.

Little freedom? If I wanted to I could go up into Capital hill and call everyone in the senate retarded if I wanted to. If I tried that stunt to the king of Saudi Arabia, I'd be killed.
 
That's one of the little freedoms we have left, although if yo did that you would probably be arrested for "public disturbance". the only reason we don't chop heads off here is because we're " more civilized"

That's because anyone caught by the police is a dead man walking over there.
 
It's a trend over here as of late.
Even an old friend who was more middle of the road, cosmopolitan etc. is now pretty darn right wing. And angry.

Also, if you want to make half-arsed comparisons. Japan's crime rate is much lower than ours and has a far higher proportion (if not amount) of athiests when compared to America, now does that mean that the two are related? No, just because they correlate does not mean there is causation.

But seriously, Saudi Arabia's lower crime rates are due to brutal enforcement and the popularity of the government (An absolute quasi-theocracy, and staging a rebellion against it is like starting a catholic uprising against the pope, it just doesn't happen.)
