AP - The White House, calling Monday for a lasting cease-fire in the Mideast, backed Israel's deadly air attacks on the Gaza Strip and said the Islamic militant group ruling there had shown its true colors as a terrorist organization. After Hamas, which controls Gaza, fired mortars and rockets deep into Israeli territory, Israel retaliated Saturday with a fierce bombing campaign — the deadliest against Palestinians in decades.

american government also has a major role in these massacers in gaza for backing esrael.
where are the human rights?that america imposes countries to apply?
every person and every human in this world must do his responsiblities toward these massacres against children and women.
in fact this is unjustice and unfair..........................
 
You I think it is time for an even handed approach to this issue, how about we let the USA back Israel by firing 10 nuclear missiles into the Palestinian areas and then in an effort to be fair let Russia fire 10 nuclear missiles into Israel and we will call it a draw?

We will have solved a major part of the middle eastern problem in the space of about 20 minutes at the same time hopefully there will be a prevailing southerly and we can take out a sizable chunk of Africa with the radiation cloud and not only have we ended terrorism but we will have made a serious impact on the Aids epidemic and world hunger.
Any one seeing a downside to this?

blackeagle, Use your common sense instead of being emotionally involved. What if a group of Palestinians decided to rocket and mortar towns in Jordan. And if you think this scenario is ridiculous, you should read the historys of the creation of Israel. Many Arab countries initially in favour of an Arab victory over Israel, changed their tunes very quickly when it didn't happen. As a matter of fact most Arab nations closed their doors to these refugees the war created.

But history aside, if Hamas had the wisdom to quit the nonsense they are perpetrating, Israel would stop it's attacks immediatly and offer an olive branch.
 
I disagree, peace between Israel and the Palestinians is not possible as long as both sides cling to the notion that peace can only be achieved on their terms, I don't even think that it is possible to assign blame (outside of the usual emotional responses) as both sides are equally guilty of criminal acts.

As it goes the last real chance for any peace in the region died with Arafat and Rabin.
