1736 Actually, I've only ever been to a real beach to "relax" once in my lifetime. Now I've spent plenty of time "playing" in sand...but that's a horse of a different color.

1738 Did you know the US Army has a standard issue hammock? Trust me..I'll take the hammock over a sleeping bag/bunk any day in the sandbox.

1739. We just had sleeping bags, most of the time on exercise was spent on traffic control. So we had canvas command posts. We didn't get campbeds.

1740 well the reason I say that is because I've had a couple of times where I've opened a sleeping bag to find something hiding out.
