The Rise and Fall of Gender

jillyZ, you are fighting bravely, but your situation reminds me a bit of one of those situations that discern different methods of behaviour in men and women:

A gal comes home just before having to leave to work, and hubby asks: "Where have you been all night long?"

She replies: "Sorry, had no time to call, just slept over at a friend" and goes to take a shower.

Hubby (not really a knight) snitches her agenda and phones up her 10 best friends to ask whether she had slept over indeed.

Result: Out of 10 calls made, none of the girls could confirm that she had staid there last night.

Now, lets assume for a moment this happens to men also and look at it from the other perspective:

Guy turns up in the morning, same excuse, leaves for the shower. His wife (not a real lady either) does the same thing on his agenda and asks his 10 best friends about last night.

Result (and here is the difference that you are currently suffering):

Out of 10 guys, not only will 7 straightaway confirm that he had spent the night there, but the other three will additionally adorn it with something like: "Sorry, he cannot come to the phone atm, he is under the shower" :)
