The reference to Walthamstow really hurts. It is a large borough on the north-east edge of London next to Epping Forest.
When I left there in 1971 it was a good place to live, about 250,000 folk. Good schools and services. My mum had a shop there, for a year or so I drove a cab there. Four of my five kids went to school there, happily.
It has a mile long open market running through the middle, and is equidistant to many great football clubs, Tottenham, Arsenal, West Ham, Leyton Orient amongst them.
It will host the Olympic Games 2012 site, on the area where the bombing rubble of WW11 was buried and laid out in a vast area of sportsfield where masses of soccer games were played at once at the weekends. Many of the greatest soccer stars hail from there, including David Beckham.
Now it has become a festering boil of Islamic extremism. These people, mostly asylum claimers etc. should be on their knees in thanks for having been given the opportunity to live in what was such a good area, receiving such good benefits etc and floating backwards and forwards to Pakistan. They are planning to build Europe's biggest mosque on the Olympic site, to hold some 13000 worshippers.
How have our government stood by and watched this happening is my question? Now they are finally telling us - we must control immigration. We have been telling them that for years, but they continually retorted that it was good for us. Now even the ex-Archbishop of Canterbury is complaining that our National Health Service cannot cope with the numbers.
Here is the come uppance, in Spades.
