The Canal Incident

Delta

Verschlimmbesserung
So in Arizona we have canals for irrigation (some people had sprinklers, some had irrigation) if you don't know what they are there are basically concrete ditches. I was walking in one during December (The canals have no water at this time) and my foot went in the very cold water, and as I stepped out I slipped and ended up walking with my shoes and socks soaked. I had to walk home like that and my right foot was soaking wet. This happened yesterday and I had a 2.5 mile walk home and I think I might have Trench Foot now. Gonna get that checked out soon.

Personally, I think you've just got wrinkly skin, you would have to be subject to prolonged exposure to submersion in dirty water filled trenches to contract trench foot. 👍
The canals have water and in the area I live in there's all sorts of junk in there including dead fish. There was water up to my ankle in my boots

I have spent several hours up to my knees on a flooded motorway and didn't contract trench foot. You will have to spend days if not weeks in muddy flooded unsanitary conditions to get it. 👍
