Hello IMF! I was looking through old emails and accounts and saw that I haven't checked in for quite a while. I'm excited to share that my retirement from the USMC has been accepted and I'm wrapping up this chapter of my life. I really appreciate the advice I got back in 2005 from the members here and the conversations about the military mindset.

Hehe I think I remember 2005.
It is hard to believe this place has been around long enough for people to have gone through various careers, I would say "Grown up" but I am not sure anyone has done that.

Time really flies, but it's great seeing you online here again. Any retirement plans, or new career plans? :)

Grown up? Anyone in here??? 🤪
The forum is actually 23 years old in december, but the original Milforum started even earlier in a very basic design...
So we've had quite a few career changes, from boot camp to retirement, marriages between members who met online here, and even a few "Milforum kids" as a result of that as well.. 🥳
Hopefully we'll be around for the next 23 years as well, even if bulletin boards/forums isn't as popular as they used to be "back in the days". 😊
