From my dinosaur POV that rings a bell somehow...I'll note that Pravda is actually more biased against the US than Al Jazeera.
Yeah, yeah we get it, you're an member of the far-right. Letting businesses run free leads us right back to the days of Boss Tweed and his ilk. If the country was in the hands of megacorporations instead of our government, expect more human rights abuses as we are squeezed out of our money.A broke clock might have a better record, but, still 20 yrs after the fall of the wall, the people were duped by a glitzy campaign into electing the most anti-capitalist Prez in history.
Opposing being turned into a Socialist cesspool is hardly a call for a return Lazie Fair (sp?) Capitalism.Yeah, yeah we get it, you're an member of the far-right. Letting businesses run free leads us right back to the days of Boss Tweed and his ilk. If the country was in the hands of megacorporations instead of our government, expect more human rights abuses as we are squeezed out of our money.
This picture shall show you what seperates Capitalism and Socialism.
The Roosevelts were a great political family. Both of the presidents they produced helped America out to an huge extent. Teddy helped put an end to the days of Ultra-corrupt monopolies and trusts (compare the size, power, and corruption of modern day companies to those back in his day and you'll find that we are much better off) and did a lot to expand America's power and navy. Franklin helped us with the depression and our war effort against the Axis. Its spelled "Laissez-Faire"
And I have been meaning to correct this. Technically it isn't Socialism. Socialism is the government control of production (not services), having a government healthcare system is not socialist.
And Czin is right. Pure Capitalism is just as totalitarian as pure Socialism is. The only difference is whose holding the leash. We had a taste of what life was like when the robber baron were in charge...it was pretty nasty business. Thank God Teddy Roosevelt put an end to it.
We need you back Teddy...
