heh, its a corinthian style helmet, worn before and after Alexander's time and soldiers 
I dont know what the ancient Egyptians wore, probably something like what the Spynx wore, or a helmet like what Nefertiti wore.
As fore the later Egyptians and the M.E., they wore something like those:
distinguished by the cone like upward going skull, and a nose protector that is onlt attached on the lower of the helmet, like the last picture. Yep, I have interests in historical arms and armour :camo:
