Perfect is the enemy of good enough

Not sure i agree.
A lot of excellent weapons would be ideal but that is trumped by enough good weapons to do the job.

Personally I think the west may be misinterpreting this war and putting too much weight on the threat of fpv drones.
When it comes to Russia our strength has never been armour, artillery or infantry it has been the air force and air superiority, I am still of the opinion flooding the battlefield with fpv drones is not going to be quite so simple under a rain of high precision guided munitions.

Once this threat is minimised then the smaller numbers of excellent western armour, artillery and better trained and equipped ground forces can match Ali Putin and his 4,000,000 thieves, murderers and rapists.

PS: Tigers were never "Excellent" weapons, Sherman's vs Tigers was merely a battle of an adequate weapon vs an unreliable one, most of Germany's heavy armour was not destroyed by enemy armour but abandoned after breaking down behind the frontline.

Seeing some of those 3-D pictures/portraits created using who knows how many drones during ceremonies, considering the sophistication to do it I imagine that, for instance, you might be able to take out a large % of Kim's artillery along the DMZ even if in bunkers. True about reliability.

I am hoping the Ukrainians will eat through a lot of North Korea's artillery.
I am not claiming FPV drones will not have a place in any potential West v Russia conflict but I believe the Wests current air superiority doctrine does somewhat nullify their effectiveness.
It also seems to me that the value of FPV drones relies largely on a static frontline and if we are fighting a static war with Russia we will have failed badly.
Ukraine's problem is not the quality of its troops or equipment it is in the fact that it lacks the ability to create the force ratio it needs to effect a significant and exploitable break through.
