I was one when that was made, fast forward to 1986, I still wore the same uniform when on patrol. It was hard driving a car in a red cap!

I was lucky enough to have avoided the scratchy old uniforms, we got newer ones that apparently were more comfortable and hard wearing, most of us just assumed they had used tent canvas that you had to beat with a 4x2 before you could bend it.
