Member of the Bundestag works with left-extremists.

I Post this here because I think it's fitting, for me memories about RAF come back to life- check this out and feel invited to discuss it:

BERLIN. The fraction of the left wing party has invoiced people to disrupt road shows of the German Bundeswehr. "The Bundeswehr pushes massively into schools to lure teenagers as offsprings." Said the left-wing party speaker for domestic affairs, Ulla Jelpke.
Jelpke criticised the road shows as "precocious address of underaged teenagers" and a "cultivation of one's image and self assurance of the military".
That's why one wants to go against the road shows. The member of the Bundestag thereby explicitely emphasized her readiness to work together with left-extremists.
"I provide all requested appointments to Freedom- and Antifa (anti fascist) groups. Against military propaganda helps civil education- with Phantasy and firmness", announced Jelpke.
In the past it came to several cases of assault and disturbences of road shows of the Bundeswehr. (March 2009)

Add: 2007 counts 130 disturbences. The art of disturbence lasts from peacefull demonstrations to attacks on recruiters during road shows.

It is just wrong, the Bundeswehr is being pilloried for WW2, the pendulum has swung too far the other way, now it needs to settle back down into the middle.

Germany is a democracy & everyone is entitled to their opinions, but a politician should not being inciting disorder.

You know what? I think if this is what they're going to be doing, the Germans should outright ban Germany itself. After all it was the GERMAN PEOPLE who brought Hitler to power and not the military (which barely even existed at the time).
It's ridiculous.

The Newspaper "Junge Freihei" (Young Freedom) has published my letter to the editor about this topic. Seems that at least some people share my opinion on this one!

Sure, I try to translate it for you:
"Poor Germany
Who lives in Germany accepts, as far as possible, the free democratic basic order. The political system explicitely implies in it's law and will an Army for self defense and the international applicability in the context of alliances. To go against the military is solely an action against our own system. And above all politicians cut off their noses.
As soldier and officer of this country It gives me the deepest sorrow that members of our Bundestag who are in the broadest sense our command controllers work with left-radical forces to aggravate our job for our country. To my mind this is a one of a kind absurdity. 'Poor Germany!"

It's pretty calmn and collected.
I would have written something like "If this is about World War II, let's not forget it was the public that voted for Hitler."

Yeah but then I could as well have resigned because they would have thrown me out anyways. Military Intelligence will probably question me about this some time anyways... Next security check will be fun I guess. So much for free will and democracy.

Worst thing: it's a conservative newspaper. I could have remained anonymous- but that's for sissys. I do stand for my word in every way- if they don't like it ... their problem- stop.

You seem like a good guy. I dislike what it was the person said. It's wrong for them to want no military, or to be angered by having a good one. What's funny here is, there was a killing of a late term abortion doctor, and so they had more police at abortion clinics. There were also military recruiter killings and the government turned a blind eye to beefing up security at the recruiting offices. The left has no respect for the military, and one day when they need it, it won't be there.

Strange, isn't it, that despite the constant slandering of others as supporters of facism, just about all such dictatorial regimes have sprung from socialist parties, including, of course, the NAZI party.

I admire you for that, and I served in the same army (if many yrs ago) for that right of yours.

Just FDR, though, "Junge Freiheit" is not a "conservative" (FAZ would qulify for that), but rather a revisionist (some call it "NeoNazi") paper made by ppl who still do not want to accpt that the "arian" "german" race ideology was mislead completely (and, personally, much of the stuff I read there gives me the creeps, like the insinuation that no jews were killed in the gas chambers). Froom my POV they distort news for propaganda effects, like "der Stürmer" (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Der_Stürmer) did and are on the same line. Luckily only very few people read it (and half of them, like me, to see what new inventions about "the conspiracy" they came up with)

Still, if I would post there, I would do it with open visor, same as you (as I actually do against nationalistic (left) stuff here in Spain, here: http://www.circulobalear.com/): It is not only your right, but your obligation if you feel democratic seriously.

Onwards!

Unfortunately if I wrote something that was more in tune with reality over here with my name on it, I'd have an angry mob ready to burn my house within hours.

Not only there, especially the Language Issue I was mentioning has the same effect, and, especially in a village with only 150 inhabitants, you have to take that serious.

For this reason all my (privately used) email addies and IP´s do not lead to my address straightaway (law enforcement has no prob to find out, though, as it is only stored away for safety with this condition).

So, publishing under my name still holds some (locational) anoymity to the public, though the publisher and state is fully aware.

While a noble act, and quite well written ( a bit to emotional for my personal tastes) this might very well come back to bite you in the arse.
Remember the fact that when you signed your contract you signed away alot of the rights civilians have.

Even if Mil Intel doesn´t get you openly for this all they need to do is to drop a hint to your future commanders about trouble about to happen and you will be paria.
I hope it doesn´t come to that, for your sake since you seem passionate about serving..

Good luck, and think about it an extra time before getting something similar published in the future.
Just some free advice, take it for what it´s worth..
