I've got one tucked away somewhere, the cover on mine is the same only in shades of green.

I kept it to show people, as I couldn't believe that the US Army would have to go to this extent to encourage soldiers to keep their weapon in good shape.

Crap I got issued the same one in Boot in 84. The only differences I can see is they changed LSA to CLP.

Looks pretty much the same as the manual for the C7, except we're told to never use a round to pop out the take-down pin...or any other pins for that matter.

You're not supposed to need one for the M-16 either, but sometimes the pins get gummed up a little bit. No big deal, just use the rim of a spend cartridge to pry them out.

I just use my Gerber to sort out gummed up pins. Good ol' CF issue multi-tool.
