Well guys, I finished enlistment with the United States Marine Corp this afternoon. I am sworn in and official now! I ship out to Basic on November 29th. So you may not hear from me for some time.

I was relatively unimpressed with my IST...

I know I can do better! Of course I did enlist at 30 years old!
 
Good look man! I thought you couldnt enlist when you were 30??
Probably just me with my facts wrong as usual.

Just turned 30 in October...so we were able to do an age waiver.

3 things u must know:

Dont count the days, COUNT THE SUNDAYS
Go from chow to chow....day goes much faster
MAIL CALL....No matter how small of a piece of mail is ... its the best!!
