Gurkhali

Isn't that the nickname for the Military Police?

It is, yes. Rather appropriate too. :D

There's only one set of monkeys - the RMP. RAFP are known as snowdrops because of their white caps, RNP I'm unsure of and finally the RM Police who are hated even more than us. ;)

They are wearing a red beret? Do the Royal Marines have the Navy monkeys or the Army monkeys?

Yeah, RMP wear red lids.

RM's have their own police (Royal Marines Police), but they now fall under the Royal Navy Police. That said, a RM could be arrested by a monkey.

Only the RMP (Royal Military Police) are called monkeys.

It used to be only RMP had reciprocal powers of arrest over all services. The rest could only arrest from their own service. since the Armed Forces Act 2006 was introduced, any service copper can nick anyone from any of the services and about time. Even Ruperts can have their collar felt without permission from another Rupert. ;)

Indeed. No one is above the strong arm of the law. ;)
