I can't investivate anything, I don't do policework. Traffic management is my area of expertise. ;-)
Leave the real policing work to the experts!

All part of the same discipline.besides, the new lights sit on top of the cones so they align at the same time.

Too right, you don't mess with a woman's pussy without her permission.
New lights?
We've had them for years! Do keep up!

New for us, ours are amber not blue.

I'm not a policeman, I'll leave the skiving, coffee and donuts to the "experts" whilst I crack on with my job.

:lol:You can keep them, I'm happy with ambers. I had my fun blatting about on blues and twos in Germany. Besides, we get our wig wags and bull horn sirens before long. Just going through Parliament for ratification.

What job? Parked up at observation platforms for a whole 12 hours sleeping and overindulging on pies?

Ah, but you know everyone ignores amber's!
Blues get the respect!
Shuffling along in L1 at 50mph with wig wags and siren ablaze, while being overtaken by trucks and L3 German driving reps?

It's a hard job but someone's got to do it, and it's only for 8 hours - we're Civil Servants!!! 12 hours is far too uncivilised!!!

It's not for that, it's for making progress through bumper to bumper traffic at incidents. That's why the new patrol cars have a lot more ambers at the front to alert dozy motorists.
Only 8 hours?
You clearly are in no position to criticise the "experts" then. :box:

Good luck with that!!!!!
I can't even shift them with blues, reds, wig wags and sirens in a fully marked police car! :bang: :9mm: :cen:
Can't you just run along the H/S?
I think only 8 hours makes us the better "experts" at skiving!!!

You can if it's free!! I've lost count of the amount of times I've encountered selfish motorists who thought it was their god given right to pass a scene on the hard shoulder because they were "too important" to wait like everyone else!!! :firedevi::firedevi::firedevi:

I've heard!!! I used to do 14 hour night shifts in the RMP - even more pies and sleeping!!!
