After people being lucky to survive yesterdays attack in Burgos (a miracle really, so many kids and women sleeping there and only 60 lightly injured):

this time, 2nd time within 24 hours, they struck (supposedly it was ETA, wouldn´t be surpised if it were the PanCatalanists either) in Mallorca:

2 dead, many injured, as result of a car bomb in a Guardia Civil vehicle in front of the casern in Palma Nova, Mallorca (first attack in Mallorca ever).

The surge of attacks (we expect two more in the next 3 days as there are two more confirmed car bombs out there that still have not been located) has to do with tomorrow - JUL 31 - being the 50 years anniversary of the foundation of ETA.

The GC casern in Palma Nova is mainly occupied of Cadets, i.e. their age is between 18 and 20, que hijos de puta!

They really are stupid: They will not reach anything that way, just revulsion. How can you found a new nation/motherland on killing children??
When will the youngsters of the "left" Abertzale (which from my socialist POV are merely facists, really, and every honorable communist/socialist will start turning about in his grave on hearing them claim this political line), who, I am sure, love dogs and cats, find their love for their fellow humans and start condemning ETA using bombs to propagate political/economic goals?

Soldiers, not policemen (GC is, apart from Army, Navy, AirForce the 4th part of the Spanish Armed Forces).

Also my hunch was dead on: TEDAX exploded a 2nd car bomb, and a third one is in the works.

Would be nice if more citizens got proactive than be passive and be more informing. Provide more help not for just themselves. Maybe something leaders should consider recommending? :-?
 
Terrorist always acting like cowards. They have no political alternative, so better be outlaw and killing knowing they can only be punished with jail although had killed, broken families, etc.

They are not able to fight like men, just do it exploding bombs were children sleep, putting IDF´s or bombs in cars while policemen are not in.

Perhaps should think it beter when everytime were caught "they tried to fight and several died by police shots" Everytime it happened, perhaps then they could realize what pain means. Or perhaps they could feel some kind of agression in jails by other prisioners...

Of course, thanks to all not Spanish who show their disagreement to this acts and their condolences for this sh** we live now

targetting children and spouses, these terrorist are the lowest life forms on earth. They discust me. i hope the spanish goverment find them soon and put them to justice.
 
Update:

Spanish authorities have published 6 photos of supposed ETA members that are supposedly behind the two bombings in Burgos and Mallorca:

Authorities in Mallorca have said they already have the names and photos of a young couple that they believe behind the bomb attack in Calvia, but haven´t published it yet.

Currently they are searching for an apartment that might belong to the two, and the Islands exits like ports and airport are heavily controlled.

As far as the investigation is going, the hypothesis that the terrorists might have used a time switch to activate the bomb´s movement sensor at a preset time is gaining weight (probably from the informations gained of the 2nd bomb that the TEAX blew up controlledly). This would mean that the terrorists had probably hours to escape before the detonation.

On another angle, yesterday at 1300 local an emotional funeral for the two Guardia Civiles was celebrated in the Cathedral de Palma de Mallorca, in the presence of the Prince and his wife and the President of the Spanish Government, open to the public and may citizens attended.

The coffins, carried by companions of the fallen, were received with great applause, as well as the Prince and his wife. Some politicians, though, were booed at.

Actually, young as they are, they are also lives lost because of ETA. They won´t come out of prison ever, never know what it is to live w/o fear or founding a normal family, etc...

A pity to waste this energy of our future for killing... for what? A free Basque state?
Why not try it with voting...? Oh, you might not get anywhere that way because the majority does not feel they have to have that nation of their own? Well, then that is your answer...

Sad, really, too many lives wasted already.

As a Flemish guy in Belgium i can understand their need to be independent (google Flanders independent if you wanna know why) but i would not even think about to start bombing innocent people, let alone children. In my eyes their actions are inexcusable and they deserve no compassion.

One day i hope that Flanders will be free without the constant meddeling of the waloons and them trying to gain our land and force their language onto us, but not at the cost of human lives. There are other peacefull ways to achieve this and in the end will get you much more respect.
 
I wrote a report on Flemish and Walloonian independence movements in college actually. It's very much a political movement and is happening at the wishes of the voters. That is the way to do things. And at least back in the early 2000's, Flanders was becoming more and more independent of Wallonia.
ETA however... hmm....
 
I can understand independence tendencies of those who claim for that into the law, into the voting way like all politics cannons, etc.

I laugh it loud when Catalonians continuously claim for their independence but help the government in it´s laws receiving economic compensations much better than other Spanish comunities.

I think Europe was a continent made by Countries who made their empire by anexing other countries, so perhaps there are people who doen´s feel Spanish really (or french, or german or whatever), but looks like if they are Spanish for the fat cows era only.

The game should have to be by voting exclusively. I feel andaluz, but over it I feel Spanish, and I think many vasconians, catalonians and everywhere in Spain feel like that.

If any time independentist dreams come tru it should be in legitime way, not by using the terrorism acts, the pression on politics to support them witn votes for passing the government proposals, etc. And of course if that ever happens ( I hope not to see it) we should be clear how it was made in Tzchequia and Slovaquia, that did it in such a silence way that nobody realized, not like happend in Jugoslavija.

About ETA is a band of almost no ideas that has received so many hits during last years and lost so many leaders that now is almost repleted of young bastards in the line of actual youth who have been born in the times when Spain was in a good position (economics) that have not felt any hunger, but with no future in their minds because they just have lived the Erriko Tabernas ( places like bars for that people) future. They are young, bloody and nothing to loose in life, so criminal era is the best they like.

But I repet, I think so many of them are captured alive, becose when they are going to be caught they don´t even go next their weapons. Perhaps they should get 3-4 shots when trying to get them (I think I would shot with pleasure most my magazine on those coward kilers).

Sorry about your losses. I hate terrorist with every ounce of my being, they digust me. I find them utterly repulsive, everything about them. I enlisted in the hopes of getting to shoot as many of them in the face as I can.
 
While I am not into shooting them at all (to kill) as its seriously against my beliefs (but will reserve my more detailed plans for the moment I ever consciously run into one), here an update on the current ops:

Police got 3, one of the guys searched for Palmanova, the rest heados of the mil/logistics section, and by now additionally three "zulos" (= clandestine logpack deposits):
