Ruger is the maker of the Mini-14 and the Mini-30. THere is no such thing as a Mini-Ruger.

Mini-14 is chambered for .223 Remington (5.56x45mm)
Mini-30 is chambered for .30 Soviet (7.62x39mm)

Might be hard to slash with that vert handle, but the psychological intimidation factor is sufficient haha.

No, it's still pretty simple to attack with the vertical grip.

Yeah I think a stab would be easy, but a slashing motion seems awkward to me without the ability to twist a hand around, but I suppose one could put the hand in between the grip and the mag well. Looks awesome though!
