Haha, they should at least buy him drinks to relieve the pain. Can he fight back if he gets the jump on them?
 
Yup, they make simunition in 7.62x39mm. He always used his AR-15 for the training and also a 1911A1.

As for fighting back he was OPFOR. His job was to make it as hard for the SWAT team as he can.

I think it's a 37mm. Been thinking of getting one myself. I could get a M209 and pay about a grand but it's all the damn paper work with BATFE that I hate.... Oh well, I'm gonna have to do it anyways when I get my can for my 1911A1.

Yeah I was thinking about getting a 37mm for my AR, no BATFE bravo sierra IIRC.

Theoretically, it would be slightly easier for you to get a can than the average joe since you're LEO. I mean you still need the police chief to sign off on it right?
 
I have a problem there. I don't live in the city that I work for. I live in another city but we don't have our own local PD. We contract the county sheriff to do our policing. Yeah, funny I know.

Anyways for that I need to get the County Sheriff to sign off. I know the county mayor but not the sheriff. So I'm gonna have a little trouble there.

I can get around that by doing a living trust. It costs a little more but it's worth it.

I just have to get off my lazy arse and get my attorney to get the living trust going.

I don't carry a 1911A1 on-duty. I carry a GLOCK 22 .40S&W for work. The can for the 1911A1 is simply a toy. It's just great going to the range and not having to wear those stupid ear muffs or ear plugs .
