man, I've shot just about every caliber of domestic-use weapons,m save for maybe .243. My cousin's lightweight colt .45 M1911 is a joy to shoot.
Personally, I use a Remington 870 Express with 3 inch mags, usually #2s in a full choke. For deer hunting, I'll use a Savage .270 with Nosler tips, though I'm looking into Barnes' Triple Shok X- when I shot my first deer a year ago, I couldn't find a blood trail- I got lucky when the doe jumped a fence, ran into a pine tree, and died there. |

Same as CC, a double barreled 10 guage is all I have fired off, for rifles the largest is only a .22, when just shooting targets for practice you don't need much more than that. I personally enjoy trap shooting quite a bit, especially when we are throwing the traps south and shooting them over the hiway so they land in my uncle's ex-wife's field. Oops
