My theory people who have never been in a accident do not fear consequence and drive as they please, until they either face the cost of an accident or the injury.

The later is the more pre dominant influence on driving saftely. You would think childeren's saftey would influence driving patterns but I have people blow by me at 75 mph all the time with kids in the car.

No body cares anymore.
"But I care"..

I believe your theory. This is why insurance is so high for young people.(not that I"m old)

In my twenties there were a couple accidents which put the fear there.

Mine just went down from paying close to $1500 a year, I have been in two accidents, neither one I was driving, but I know how dangerous complacency is, one of them was a guy on his ipad while driving, which tells me it was his habbit to ap surf while driving.

Human beings from idividuals all the way up to countries normally base their reactions in a knee jerk fashion, not until the conserquences of known bad choices are evident do we normally do anything as towards their prevention in the future.

You're too wise for your age. And I mean that in a good way.

I was about to add that. The texting while driving is dangerous and has almost caused a few accidents for me also. I drive defensively now. It takes a chameleon to do this and we're not equiped.

I leave early, and drive a steady 55 mph, unless on a higher speed motor way such as a highway or interstate, then it's a cool 60mph.

Call it old man sydrome but I'm 65 at heart and rather enjoy the little bit of country side left these days taking the backroads to reach my destination than to avoid the break neck pace and neath death experiances with the more direct metro routes.

Don't type that please. It's "wise" syndrome. Most of the young men from my experience with my children, they can't get out there fast enough. It's scary and I wish they had your attitude. It would save many lives in a day.

Enjoy yourself and take those back roads. Your parents must be very proud of you. One day you'll have a family riding those back roads and sharing this with your children.

Take life slowly, yet go for your dreams. I have the feeling you're going to have a long and happy life. A smart young man with bright future, and you'll find a lucky woman to be by your side. These are your best days. Keep them in your heart always.
I do wish you the best and want to tell you , you're a great role model for young people these days.

God bless and I don't care if we've gone off topic. Positive is necessary in the midst of all this negativity.

90% of dubstep in my opinion is pure butchery of the origonal track.
