A burglar has been jailed after stealing an entire kitchen,
including the sink, from an unoccupied house and installing
it in his own home.

Patrick Orkney used power tools to strip $30,000 worth of
property from the house over a number of days, including the
fitted kitchen, freezer and fridge, a dresser and carpets.

The kitchen was later found fitted at Orkney's home in Gnaw
Bone, Kentucky where a total of 84 items stolen from the
house were discovered, said a sheriff's deputy.

took a client to the house for a possible lease, we were
shocked to see must of the kitchen missing."

About 30 Germans wearing nothing more than red Santa
Claus caps leapt into a Berlin lake for their annual Christmas
Day swim on Saturday, a dip in the ice-cold water they
believe is good for their health.

The naked men and women, between the ages of 25 and 73,
spent up to about five minutes in the water where temperatures
were 34 F.

The tradition dates back to at least 1980. The swimmers,
outnumbered by media photographers drawn to the annual
event, built up their courage for the dip by singing Christmas
carols and sipping mulled wine.
