I was at the Maywood, California protest yesterday joining Save Our State and Minutemen protesting the fact that Maywood allows it to be a "sanctuary city". This was my experience... I was dropped off by my ride while he parked and I saw all of the American flags and started walking towards them and suddenly there was a rush of thugs running towards me calling out "death to the minutemen". They stopped me in my tracks. They pushed me around and told me if I was to take one step further, they would beat the shit out of me. I looked to the back of me and there were about 4 police officers leaning on their vehicle just watching, doing nothing! So, as I stepped forward, they stole my sign and ripped it up as another was throwing water on me. Meanwhile, I am still getting pushed around and threatened so I again look back to see if the police are going to help. Nope! So, I stood there with my hands on my hips with one hand on my pepper spray and I was ready to use it. Again, I might mention that there are 4 or 5 police officers behind me doing NOTHING to the fact that I am being threatened, pushed around and stolen from. I was ready for whatever they were going to give me at that point. I was going to pepper spray all of them and I looked back one more time as I am being pushed around by men, a police officer finally waves me over. So, I went over and then they escorted me across the street to another group of officers who escorted me to our SOS group.

After being at the rally for a while, we noticed that the opposition was getting louder and they we watched as they took the American flag off of the flag pole and stepped on it on the ground at the United State Post Office and mounted a Mexican flag and up it went. At this point the police did nothing. Finally, they went over to take it down and they had bottles and rocks thrown at them. They did not attempt to arrest anyone. They were unable to take it down because they cut the wrong line so the flag remained there for the rest of the day.

I believe that all Americans need to know about this and need to see that Mexican flag hanging at an American post office. We are being invaded and the American people need to wake up!

Another woman was beat up (while the police watched) and injured as well as an elderly man. They tend to pick on the weaker targets.

If I was a police officer there I would of made sure that folks didn't beat folks. And if I was a protestor there. I would of gone and crack some skull defending the flag of the USA.
 
I am not sure if "invaders" is the proper word.... but it is a troublesome story, at least for some. I´d just stick to "illegal alien" or something like that. Although the post office yard was invaded, but I bet that happens everyday.
 
Operation Illegal Alien ....

Why are you so surprised about this violence - there is an invasion that has been underway for a very very very long time. The invasion is coming out of the south, NOT from the Middle East.

What is so infuriating about this, is the fact that many law enforcement officers no longer react to the perpetrators because the police know that when they go beck on patrol, they are liable to end up being targets of these gangs, thugs and criminals.

This is NOT politically correct but:
I would like to see a one month, 24/7 sweep of our entire nation by ALL police forces everywhere with National Guard involvement, where ALL illegal aliens (not just Mexican illegals), are targeted, arrested and deported back to their own countries (Operation Illegal Alien). It could be door-to-door as far as I am concerned. If illegals are found working for a businessman, I would like to see the businessman arrested, tried, fined and forced to do a little jail time. This is one of those times where I would like to see a little of the "electronic tagging" (mini-transmitter placed under the skin), used to 'mark' those people who are deported to make future spotting that much easier. The planting should be deep enough that a simple cut can NOT reach the transmitter. As far as I am concerned, these illegals have NOT earned the right to the guarantee of the liberties that an American enjoys because of the Constitution. That doesn't mean that I am in favor of crimes against humanity, because I am not. I just believe that we do legal immigrants an injustice when we treat these illegals with kid gloves.

There is only ONE thing that we owe an illegal immigrant ....... a one way ticket out of the United States bound for their own country. This includes families with children born in this country. PERIOD.

You show exactly the viewpoint that concerns so many Americans and politicians in America.

I also realise that my post is NOT a good example of the politically correct philosophy ... I am just tired of reading and hearing about illegal aliens and the *sskissing our politicians have to do when dealing with this issue. The cost to America has risen so high that it is beginning to impact services at most of our hospitals and welfare centers. They have even attached additional costs to any and all insurance policies. The picture is grim and shows NO signs of getting better.
 
Well I find a civil war not entirely correct, because this is between different groups of one nation. Since they aren't American nationals you can't have a civil war.

You could also hang one of them to every lamppost along the highway as a deterrence.... isn't that an option. To explain my sarcasm; I think that some of you haven't a clue how deeply embedded these aliens are within the American economy. You talk about departation, door-to-door searches, national guard razzia's without thinking this through! There are so many short and long term difficulties which you barely know about, that it would be prudent to delve into this longer!
 
Come on Ted. How would you know? You don't even live here. We had our "day without illegals" and I'll tell you what: it was one of the best days here in a long time.
 
Pray tell, what difficulties would we experience after the illegals were deported to their home countries? Long term and Short Term examples would be appreciated.
 
I DIDN'T SAY THAT THE PROBLEM IS AN EASY ONE TO SOLVE.

I realise that there are those out there that think there IS an easy solution to this problem - they live in a wotld that never was (or) come from some other planet (can't be Pluto any more). The simplest answer woulld be to enforce the laws that are presently on the book and to h*ll with the consequinces - I am one of those that ARE in favor of using our PRESENT laws. I just believe that we MUST look at all of the repurcussions of sending someone that has been in this country twenty years as an illegal, who has children that ARE US citizens, who has melted into our country and IS contributing in a peaceful way ... a second or even a third look. One set of punishments just don't fit in that case, and that is why the answers are not so simple ... and ... I NEVER SAID THEY WERE.

Hmmm, a little off topic here. Just a flag issue.
We had a little middle eastern punk pull an Australian flag down from the flag pole outside the Cronulla RSL (Returned Servicemens League) clubrooms. He then burnt the flag.

The judges punishment however was that he face the diggers whose flag he desicrated, and that they deal out the punishment as they see fit (verbal punishment mind you.... we don't have capital punishment here).

As for the illegal immigrant issue, we've got the problem covered here. If you arrive in Australia and are an illegal immigrant you will be placed in detention until your refugee status is proved. If it isn't proved you are deported. It is the beauty of being surrounded by miles and miles of water, it's kind of hard to be snuck up on.
 
Here is my plan...


Build huge camps to house them then call up all National Guard and Army/Marines reserves and send them on a nationwide illegal alien hunt. Send everyone who is caught to the camps. And then work to find out which country they came from. Once the camps are 100% full take all the hispanic ones and send them to the Mexican border and force them at gun point to walk across. As for ones that come from Asia, Russia, Europe or whatever fly them back.

Once all this is done build a massive 20 foot tall brick wall across the border add a guard tower every few miles with about two guys armed with rifles and problem solved.

I am sorry ... but ... not on your tintype. As long as they continue to sneak across the border and that river ... wet-backs they will remain.

Mexican-Americans are ... well ... Mexican-Americans - they came to this country legally and earned the right to be called Americans and wet-backs is NOT a racist slur - it is a description of how illegals look when they come out of the river. With most of them, their backs are wet from running so fast.

I don't know, that is why I am all for research. And you don't know either! "One of the best days there" is your personal opinion, I'd guess that there are different opinions too.
And we also have an illegal aliens issue overhere as well, so I don't have to go to the States.

I am not a social scientist but it takes logic to figure out that 30 million people gone will have some effects. Think of the shady businesses where they work. These shops produce for legit markets and supply legit people. For long term effects I am thinking of the multiplier effect. I reckon that local markets will miss these people sorely....

Just to make it clear: I am not saying that you can't deport illegal aliens. I am just saying that it would be prudent and show wisdom to research the consequences.

Think of how many legit businesses are losing money to "shady businesses". I would be willing to hazard a guess that after the initial impact the economy and society would stabilize within 6 months.

The impact on the economy would (in my own opinion) be a secondary benefit. People would actually be able to see how many illegals there were and what actual impact they had. Another benefit would be the "free" Federal and State subsidized programs that would feel less of a strain with having to deal with these illegals.
