And what we heard was I want to know what you think about Obama however what we got was I want to rant on about Obama under the guise of asking for an opinion.

An honest title for this thread would have been "Obama sucks please respond so I can start a party political broadcast for the Republican cause"

First statement off, I am not joining anyone, I have broken ties with Team 1 and Team 2.

And formed Team 3 on political opinions.

But this is the recurring impulsive reply I see on political opinion in this country anymore.

To any outsiders this is a guide to help you understand more clearly.

Step 1. Observe societal issue, skip all logical explaination about generational differences due to outside influences and effects they have on your sphere of society. And jump directly to blaming the easiest scapegoat. Our current President. Also ignore math.

Step 2. Do not attempt to sway in certainity that the current president must be a avatar representing all things awash in our country today.

Step 3. Blindly vote for whoever runs against him, as all common logic must dictate that any replacement is better than the socialists satan from demision X. (base all acusassions on a complex web of rumors and unproven stories. This usually helps further the cause.)

Step 4. Ignore past dealing practices and tendecies to fead corporate buying of votes on the floors of Congress, and the current nominee for President with coffers of wealth into foreign banks and finacial insitutions.

Step 5. Blindly support him at all cost.Dismiss logic and political porfolio's of both canidates, widley call our current president the scorge of the century.

Step 6. Ignore the continued prositution of our treasurey system and routine #*$*ups by investor's and finacial "planners" from walstreet to private mansions in the Virgin Isles. Continue to attack our current President for things he's never threatened to intfere with and ingnore the real issue at hand and watch as the rug is pulled out from under our fee....

We are just the same, politics has reached such a low level that we now vote people out of office rather than voting the best person into office.

We still haven't grasped the idea that voting person X in because they cant be any worse than who we already have is not always correct.
 
Many people follow a political party rather than a person and there are areas were they will blindly vote for that party regardless of who the candidate is. I can remember one person who was an MP in Parliament who had previously been a toilet cleaner, well okay it was a job. Now this chap sat in Parliament for eleven years before he even made his maiden speech and that was under pressure from the press.
Now it makes you wonder just what he doing there and for the electorate apart from collecting all the money he could.

secondly, since you have continued to accuse me when I told you that you were wrong then, if we were in the same room, I'd have to call your azz out and invite you to step out in the back lot... most likely get my azz whipped BUT I CAN assure you that I'd ring your bell at least once, and ring it enough such that you would not want to try again - but sadly a few thousand miles separate us.

thirdly, I have gone and reread all the post and I beg you both to point out where I have been *bashing* obama at every turn, or suggest that the intent of this thread was intended to do that.... I posted a picture twice in response to another's post about how he lies.... it appears to me that it is you two who are getting bent out of shape at those who have differing opinions then you two have.

but to educate YOU some about this *fraud* who sits in our white house...

NOTHING is known about him... our press gave him a total pass during the vetting process - all his records are sealed... his associations with anarchist and socialist go ignored, he circumvents our own constitution if he does not like what it requires of him... he has poured *billions* of the public's money to prop up his union supporters and pet industries that soon fail after recieving said monies (wonder who got most of that money - and if you know anything about Chicago politics... (you don't get WITHOUT GIVING MUCH BACK).... and if you listen to the actual words that he has said yesterday, are in conflict with what he says today.

Question? What would you think of your PM if he went around the world apologizing for what Britian has done in the past... claiming how wrong she was?

What would you think if your PM gave *billions* to a third world country to develop their oil producing abilities and then tell them he hopes to be their biggest customer when WE HAVE the resources and NEED to PRODUCE them here?

What would you think if your PM bowed to foreign leaders?

What would you think if your PM whispered secretly to a major adversary that after he were re-elected he would have more leeway - and NEVER tell his own country what he meant by that.. except to wave it off as a non-issue.

Do you see where *we* may not trust this person? Would YOU trust a PM who did likewise? Would you not ask questions?

Again, I beg you to point out in any previous post where I awaited in ambush for the opportunity to *bash* obama...... again, it has been you two who have become bent out of shape..... have a nice day.

I don't care what you say or how much you deny it. This is what I think, and it seems that others agree. In fact I would say, you couldn't make it more obvious if you were to have it tattooed across your forehead in large block capitals.

As for your reasoning (questions) given above, have you compared it with things like the economic and human cost of his predecessor, who knowingly lied about WMD a fact that has cost your country trillions of dollars and killed and maimed tens of thousands of America's most valued young citizens? It all makes Obama look like Mother Theresa.

To form an honest (valid) opinion you have to look at all sides of the argument.

Well, I'd say you should look a lot harder.
Firstly,... that was NOT the input,... it was the output of the CIA, who at the behest of their political masters, deliberately misreported all of the available evidence they themselves collected. In other words they were pressured to report what they knew their political masters wanted to hear, rather than the actual evidence they collected.

In case you are unaware MI6 is a British intelligence agency, and has nothing to do with Australia, and you might also remember that David Kelly, one of the British Government's senior weapons inspectors, committed suicide as a result of the Government witch hunt conducted against him, after he spilt the beans that the evidence they were being given by the US was almost certainly known to be false. Australia was just dragged into it because of existing military agreements to support the US.

So, obviously you also ignored the all of this, and yet you try to tell me that you are looking at both sides??

You are just digging yourself in deeper and deeper.

Back in the 1960's a British politician called George Brown stated that his Government would bring in a 3% mortgage for every one. After the election he was asked just what had happened about the 3% mortgage that he had promised. George Brown turned around on TV and said if BELIEVE EVERY THING A POLITICIAN SAYS YOU SHOULDN'T HAVE THE VOTE which I thought was classic
 
can't tell about others but our PM MMS (Robo) Singh is a big fan of Obama.I read somewhere they share gr8 rapport.Now I know why? They are both good at listening to others.
 
This tread is about Honest Opinions Desired. I gave mine, some others did too. But some do not allow to have the tread starter have one himself because it is contrary to their own opinions. Strangely enough, those same people do the same in other treads.

No one said he couldn't have an opinion, they just questioned the motives for posting the thread using the Title he did.

Where would Obama be without Clinton?

And McCallum said, I don't go to the US for the social security system, I go to the US for making more money. (aka American Dream)

Obama is not reviving the American Dream, he is choking it.

this place being an international type venue I find it interesting what the other side of the fence think... as my old boss used to say as I was analyzing aerial photo's under the stereoscope -- he would suggest I turn them upside down and take a different point of view... amazing what one see's when you do that.
