I am attending a brief at 0900 to address the issue of fidelity of high risk Soldiers. The shooter had a lot issues prior to arriving at Fort Hood. It seems his new commander was not tracking any of it. The Army is going to implement a system that allows commanders to see if a Soldier has any high risk factors.

Example. Say I get word that SPC Joe Snuffy is coming to my unit. I jump on the system and see he has anger issues, is being seen to determine if he has PTSD and has lost rank due to insubordination. This will immediately let me know as a commander that this guy is mostlikely be a high risk Soldier and allow me to take appropriate actions.
