Definition: by mini drone I mean a cheap expendable 'hover' type drone. Fitted with a video camera it can give a pilot's view to an operator below, choice of camera yielding twilight and night operation.
Obviously the use of such drones is on the battle field hovering over an intended target then giving either GPS reference or itself quickly descending and exploding.
However there is another use which may have not been considered. Sophisticated terrorist operate from offices. Offices have ventilation systems. At night or reduced light conditions a mini drone can be positioned at the air intake and inject either a nerve gas or a 'sticky' substance which will allow the slow release of a poison or suitable virus/bacteria.
