And still, there is another famous one "O the monkey wrapped his tail around the flag pole", sung to the trio of the famous march "National Emblem". Unfortunately I never knew anyone who knew any more words to it than the ones quoted here.

One song from the China station is "Captain Jinks of the Horse Marines"

He's Captain Jinks of the Horse Marines
He feeds his horse on corn and beans.
He sports the ladies in their teens,
While a captain in the Army.

Chorus
He teach the ladies how to dance,
how to dance, how to dance.
He teach the ladies how to dance
While a captain in the Army.

I think this was actually a song at one point.....

They say that in the army the chow is mighty fine
a biscut rolled off the table and killed a friend of mine
They say that in the army the pay is mighty fine
they give you a hundred dollars and take back 99
hey ma I wanna go
Yeah ma please let me go
Hey ma I wanna go home

There's a bunch of verses.......but, well I'm lazy and don't want to type them all.

there is another version of the classic yellow ribbon...

around her neck she wore a pearl necklace, she wore it for the soldier who was into wipes and chain. and if you ask her why the hell she wore them, cause she knew what would happen if she didnt obey.

haha its much worse but i dont remember the rest. theres also this one, first verse is what makes it awesome...

sittin at home with nothin to do, smokin a jay (some people exaggerates by making a noise similar to inhale/exhale) and drinkin a brew (some people say mmm good so good), my recruiter lied to me "be what you wanna be, do what you wanna do". your left your right your left. your left your right now get in step. your left (hey) your left (hey) your left right your left, now keep it in step.
sat me in a barbers chair spun me around i had no hair (verse 2)
put me on a silver jet, thats a ride ill never forget (verse 3)... and im sure theres more verses

and of course "tiny bird" always takes the win haha!

stand up hook up shuffle to the door,
jump right out and count to four.
if my chute dont open wide,
i got another one on my side

if that chute don't blossom round,
I'll be the first one to hit the ground

pin my wings upon my chest
bury me in the leaning rest...

ok, I was in basic in 1977 and this cadence still brings a smile to my face

probably something to do with how much time we all spent in the leaning rest position.
