US Navys Cracking down on who can re-enlist

My recruiter was telling me that the Navy is only going to let hardworking people re-enlist..the Average Joe isn't going to be able to re-enlist.

There was a news post this week that said that the Navy was cutting approx. 3,000 people this year, and 3,000 people next year too.

yeah I didn't know exactly what it was but he did tell me they weren't letting as many people re-enlist

As things are currently, the Navy doesn't need that many people. The Army does.
