US Army Female Uniforms

I'm joining the US Army soon, and I was curious to find out all classes and types of female uniforms (class a's, bdus, etc...) but I can't find any sites within the Army.mil site or anywhere else on the web, were they are depicted. Anyone know? Just curious....

im not in the military, but hollywood can help me here in making the assumption that you would wear the same button shirts and long pants as your male counterparts :D

Maternity BDU? Am I the only one that finds that funny?

Look, bubba. Catherine Bell wears a Marine Corps Uniform, not a Navy Uniform. But she definitely is sizzlin' hot!

From what you have said, I am assuming you are a male who has never really gotten to know a pregnant woman to any great extent.

If you knew what really goes on, then you'd understand why there is a need for such a uniform.

Well I know about the maternity dress uniform.
BDU's just so associated with stuff that's likely to get a fetus messed up.

Oh wow, my simple question about female uniforms seems to have turned into a heated debate about pregnancy in the military and appropriate apparel for this situation.

It's actually kind of funny how closed minded most of you are. I agree with Red Leg, if you really had some kind of understanding, you wouldn't make those idiotic comments. What if a pregnant female soldier is working in an MOS that requires her to wear BDU's everyday to work but isn't necessarily doing any field-type stuff? I would imagine she would need something to fit her well to do her job.

Anyway, I checked out the link, that someone else posted and it really helpd. Thanks!

easy now....no one meant any harm hear, and there is no need to go on counter-offensive. Im no stranger to women serving in the military(my mom was a Ltc. in the IDF), but i still had the image of a fully battle gear armed girl that is also pregnant pop up when i read that, and that was preetey strange...But surely no one meant any harm.

Yeah. Absolutely nothing wrong with a maternity dress uniform. Just a maternity BDU does sound strange. But now that you mention it, isn't it what former Specialist England was wearing in some photos to her trial?

oh, and sorry about that, I might have gotten a little out of hand. I get over-defensive about gender issues in the military. I think that the standards should be across the board for everyone, and that performance and promotion should be based solely on one's merits and I just think people should be blind to the gender thing. Gender shouldn't be used to bias anyone for or against something. I know this is far from reality, but I'm sure soon things will change....hopefully.... :rambo:
