The military ranks and uniforms of Guinea-Bissau "should" correspond fairly closely to that of Portugal as it was a part of the Portuguese Empire until independence in 1973.
At a guess, the first picture is army but I can't make out the emblem (crossed swords, rifles or cannon?) with a rank of second corporal.
The second one looks to be paratroopers based on the green beret.
I could, of course, be totally wrong but that would be my best shot at this stage.
