I am asking myselfe the one million question over here.... And that is what our media are telling. In the beginning of the crisis they talked about a possible civil war. But they have left this and only CNN and Fox-news are still talking about it like it could actually lead to a civil war. The one million question is, that the different foreign correspondents in Ukraine talks about this election as it is not reflecting the peoples will. Well I have only seen demonstrations in the capital so far, and from other places in the world where the anger or if I put it like this, the disapprovement of Russian supported candidates have put up demonstrations against this elected, from countrys as Poland for an example. How can I tell that this is the voice of Ukraines people?
For an example, If an election would go bad for the non-Socialist party in Sweden and the People in Stockholm are the only ones that are taken in consideration when they show a demonstration that question the election over here it would look like alot of people in the camera when maby all the other part of the country minus all major citys are voting for the socialist party. You see I look into this as it comes - All have to do with the news in generall and how you are spinning them.
Let`s say if it had been the citizens of New York those who had been voteing for senator John Kerry and the cameras only shows their dissaprovment with the election and media says that the election was not fair and did not represent the peoples voice, could not this be a theoretical explanation for the crisis in Ukraine too? Is this a news spinn? Or is it a true picture of the situation? I only say that I have my doubts when it comes to different authoritys that are following elections. I say they tend to be on the wrong side of the fence many times. Opposite political side that is. What do I think?. I am maybe only skeptical to the political correct picture export industry that I am afraid is or will in the end undermine the true will of the people thats all I am saying. If this is the issue then I believe that many people in Ukraine will go angry and that can trigger a civil war if anything can.
