U.S. Silver certificate One dollar bill

i have recently obtained a silver certificate 1 dollar bill... the series is 1957 A... is this anything special? Is it worth anything?

yeah thats right... i know it doesn't sound like much. and i knwo that it isn't. i was just wondering if it is anything special... you jnow being a silver certificate. it has more design than the regular dollar bill and it also has some blue print...

I believe the silver certificates are worth around $5 base, but can be worth more for certain series. Of course this is half-remembered info from a ten year old pricelist.
