AP - A Taliban suicide bomber killed Afghanistan's deputy chief of intelligence during a visit to a mosque east of Kabul on Wednesday in an attack that left 23 others dead.

Yeah... this Afghanistan thing is going to last a long long time... unless America pulls out before the "job gets done."
 
It is sad to see loss of support, our military needs to get 'the job done'. :( would be nice to see our guys n gals go home with a job well done.
 
I think via Iraq and Afghanistan, America is learning things that most of the world have known for a very, very long time.
Through this experience, it can become wiser, or just make America more confused and hateful of the world.
 
Our numbers are small in comparison to China...almost scarey if we were completely alone from our allies. :eek:

Actuality: This sh*t can drag on for a hundred years.

Action Movie: Local populace instantly embraces the hero.
Actuality: Dude, you just shot that woman's brother in law. She is going to kill you.
