This just happened about 20 minutes ago:
I was talking to a lady on the phone, I work for my town and this woman had a question about something she was planning on doing. her last words to me were "Well I'm going to go for a little run, I'll follow up with you on Tuesday when Town Hall is open."
She was no more than 1/2 mile from her house when she was hit and killed by a minivan. The woman driving the minivan was distracted by one of her kids in the car, swerved across the road and hit this lady at about 45 miles an hour. The van same to a stop about 50 feet into a corn field.
