Pat Tillman

Redneck posted this some where else earlier, but i find it very fitting here.

And when he gets to Heaven
To Saint Peter he will tell:
"One more Soldier reporting, Sir!
I've done my time in Hell."
His brother, Kevin, also gave up a contract with the Cleveland Indians (professional baseball, for our international friends) to join the Army. He is also a Ranger serving in the 75th.

These young men are a shining example of loyalty, courage, sacrifice, and patriotism.
It is foolish and wrong to mourn the men who died. Rather we should thank God that such men lived.
- General George S. Patton, Jr

Although I do not entirely agree with the words of this statement, I do whole heartedly agree with its sentiment.
