Padilla asks for delay in hearing (AP)

AP - Attorneys for suspected al-Qaida operative Jose Padilla have asked a judge to delay a Feb. 16 competency hearing, saying they need more time to investigate a report that concludes he is fit to stand trial on terrorism charges.

Ahh yes, I remember when Padilla was the Dirty Bomber, and the Posterboy for the Boogeyman under many a bed in the United States of America.

I notice that Padilla is no longer charged with being a "dirty bomber".... perhaps Military Prison has cleaned up his act.
