Greetings for the New Year.
I come from an involved military family of lifers in all branches. We discuss military history and quotes all the time. I came across this site while researching some quotes. Great site.

Our warmest, deepest thanks and honor this Season to those that have served in the past and present so that we have a future.

Glad to have you here! I should think family members would always be a wonderful addition to our membership here. You are, after all, why we do what we do. Country yes of course, duty certainly, but in the heart of hearts of all of us who've "borne the shield" it is you who we think about when we search ourselves. I may serve that you may live is deep and abiding in all of us.
