NYC is most certainly worth the visit - the US is a big place so you need to decide where you want to go. With 2 weeks you could see NYC and Boston or Washington DC and other stuff in the Northeast


In answer to some other questions - my parents are from Ireland but I am 100% American - born in the Bronx

And I am not considering joining any of the services - a little too old and settled now
