Here goes the rumor that this was a deliberate attack on President Obama, as some of the people he met and shook hands with are dead, like this one:

The outbreak coincided with the President Barack Obama’s trip to Mexico City on April 16. Obama was received at Mexico’s anthropology museum in Mexico City by Felipe Solis, a distinguished archeologist who died the following day from symptoms similar to flu, Reforma newspaper reported. The quote is not fully correct, as Solis developed the symptoms next day and then a few days later died, but it has been confirmed now that it was swine flu that killed him, and also that Obama was together with him for an hour or so and shook hands twice, i.e. is theoretically at risk.

At least in theory an interesting scenario:

Infect someone with the virus that is going to meet a person you want taken out, bio warfare on a small scale, apt for terrorists as well as for personal enemies.

Has anyone seen Mr. Obama today?

It's quite possible.
But it's assuming that the information regarding the swine flu virus the first link gave is actually accurate, that it is a mixture of different diseases from around the world that was weaponized.
