Marathon Training

I am looking for a good training program that will get me ready for a marathon in about 6 months the a triathalon in the next 6 months after that. I regularly run about 8 to 10 miles per week now, but as my handle implies, I really prefer to lift weights and have been a strength athlete ever since leaving active duty, running was just to keep the heart and lungs working. Anyone have any suggestions?

My mom just started by running. Then she would run farther. And farther. And eventually she ran a 26 mile course at Ft. Jackson in 3:07. So yeah. Lol.

She ran an average of 11 miles for every day of the year for about 2 years or so. Anyways, she ran like 8000+ miles in 2 years. Much better then me.

I think it was 8057 in all... wow..

She ran 2 marathons and a ton of half marathons and road races and other stuff.
