I know it is I spent the first 3 months of my job as a civilian learning this. I was on conference call with my boss about every six hours when someone would go to him and complain.

I can't believe I have to leave my shouting and swearing and the occasional choking with with more shouting and swearing behind!

Ehehe yeah. Took me a bit to get used to thinking with my rank and not my age. Hard to do when you are 30ish and the Sgt is 22ish and a jacka** as well.

well marinerhodes I had a guy in my squad who was a few years younger than me and had no problem adapting to military life. I got promoted to sgt when I was 21.
