:p I am an old Singaporean of Chinese ethnicity.

My hope is to widen my knowledge of military affairs as I witnessed the Pacific War in WW2 at a young age of 6 - 10.

I am here to learn, and perhaps share with you some of my boyhood experience of the Japanese occupation of Singapore from 1942 to 1945.

Welcome, I was stationed in Singapore from 1967 to 1970 at RAF Jurong.

I'd be interested to hear about your experiences under Japanese occupation.

Where did you live when the Japanese occupied Singapore?
 
Welcome to this forum Lau Guan. I too hope to read of your experiences during WWII. We are losing many of those who witnessed those events firsthand, have you thought of committing your memories to paper?

Good idea Bulldog.

I wish my uncle who was with the Long Range Desert Group in North Africa had done that, it would have made interesting reading. Sadly he passed away a few years ago, all that information has gone forever.
