Boy don't you hate to be the FNG ? Well here goes : I am a native Texan,
joined the Marines after graduating from Peacock Military School in San Antonio, 0311 and one trip aboard the USS Coral Sea as a 'Bellhop', transferred to the FMF PAC , lived in most of the west coast bases, but
Camp Horno was HOME.
Since leaving The Corps attended Texas A&M, and went back to Surveying...ranging from pipline work to loan surveys in nearly all
the States, Managed to raise 2 daughters and one stepson along the
way....been married 4 times...not sure on how that happened, but
number 4 is Number 1! Due to accident in the field changed over to
draftsman and eventually became a CAD....25 years later was put
on long term disability and went back to school to get a degree in
Military History....I collect Military Miniatures and even research and
paint my own. I am a NexGen memner of the 384th Bomb Group and a
member of the 8th AF .....Spend some days Fishin and loafin.
