Hello, I'm looking for s good clear image and colors to the Unofficial design for the WW2 74th Fighter Squadron emblem, it depicts a cartoonish goofy looking pilot wearing leather helmet w/goggles and he's holding alongside his body a 50 caliber machine gun that is trailing a short ammo belt, and he's riding a goofy looking horse in full gallop .
I have seen two photos of this emblem , both blurry, one was black and white of a "sign" type either wood/metal propped on the running board of an Army truck, the other an actual leather patch in color but again too blurry to really make out the finer details ....................
I'm an avid researcher of military aviation unit emblems of the WW2 era of US units and this is one I really want to get nailed down , your help much appreciated and I will make a Free leather patch of this emblem for whoever can find me a good usable image, looking forward to replies !!!!!!!
